Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu inaugurates working ranking snooker meet

Chief Minsiter Nara Chandrababu Naidu today inaugurated the Indian Open world ranking snooker championship at Novotel Hotel. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the government will develop world class sports infrastructure in cities such as Tirupati, Vizag and Amaravati in the future.

Chandrababu offered to host Indian Open snooker edition in Amaravati and left it to the federation which year they want to host it. ‘I can assure the sports fraternity that the State government would not be found wanting in support its cause. For I believe not just in better income but in happiness for all’, he said.

Actor Poona Kaur appointed as Brand Ambassador for handloom:: Film actor Poonam Kaur who was the special invitees for the inaugural of the Indian Open Snooker world-ranking tournament said that she is a huge fan of Chandrababu Naidu. After presenting a specially designed handicrafts memento to Chandrababu for helping the students like her by setting up the international standard NNIFT and the NALSAR University in Hyderabad which showed them a way to make a mark in their select fields, she was in for a pleasant surprise as the event was getting over. Chandrababu announced that Poonam would be involved in promotion of handloom in the State by naming her as the Brand Ambassador for hand loom.
