Dr.C.V.Rao is the new VC of Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences

Dr.C.V.Rao has been selected to take over as the Vice-Chancellor of Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. Dr. Rao will take over charge from the current Vice Chancellor Dr.Ravi Raju.

He worked as Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at KMC-Kurnool, GMC-Guntur and RMC-Kakinada and was elevated to the post of Professor of plastic surgery and posted to Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam. He worked as Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at KGH before being posted as Principal of Andhra Medical College. He served as Director of GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research and contributed to the formation of the first Deemed University in medical sciences in the State and is currently working as Director of Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences, Visakhapatnam.
