VUDA Vice Chairman B Sridhar directs officials to draw up plans

VUDA is proposing another mega housing project in the city. VUDA Vice Chairman B Sridhar on Monday asked the officials to draw up plans for the project. VUDA has identified the site for the project at Kapuluppada which has 100 ft. road in the mater plan linking the NH-5 from Boyapalem to Beach Road at Mangamaripeta junction adjacent to the Chilukuril layout. Sridhar visited the master plan link road works and also the housing projects including the Bay Mount Area and Sunny Isles, which are joint ventures with Balaji Constructions and KSR Properties respectively.
The Vice Chairman visited the housing project at Rushikonda area and enquired about the status of the work and directed the officials to finish in time. He also visited the Singapore Class Township Haritha and examined the progress of the works. He discussed with the officials of VUDA, Jurong Infrastructure India and contractors of the Project.
The project is coming up in an area of 20.17 acres with 710 apartment units in the first phase. It will have 100 HIG,490MIG and 120 LIG units. The last date of submitting the application form is January 21, 2010. The Indian Overseas Bank is offering loans for Haritha applicants through its VUDA branch. The Vice Chancellor inspected the land layout at Paradesipalem and Gambhiram area. Top officials of the VUDA accompanied the Vice Chairman.
