Visakhapatnam Steel Plant bags two awards

Gets first prize for Organizational Excellence in Suggestions Scheme

The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has bagged the first prize for Organizational Excellence in Suggestions Scheme in steel units category of the 20th National Convention of Indian National Suggestion Scheme Association held in Mumbai recently. The award is given for organizational efforts in promoting the suggested schemes.

The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant's Assistant Manager of Maintenance management services department K Venkatachalam bagged second prize in technical paper contest while senior Charge man of blast furnace department B Venkateswarulu won the second best suggestions contest.

Assistant General Manager of Steel melt shop department of the plant SKVN Acharyulu and Charge man of LMMM department won merit awards in best suggestions contest.
