DVSS Somayajulu elected as president

DVSS Somayajulu was elected as president of Visakhapatnam Bar Association defeating his nearest rival Md. Habeebullah by 376 votes in the elections organized on Wednesday.

In the results declared in the early hours of Thursday, Somayajulu was declared elected by returning officer Muthu Srinivas. Another senior lawyer RV Ramana was elected as Vice President defeating his rival N Kalidas Reddy by 278 votes. Talluri Ravi Kumar got elected as general secretary defeating V Parthasarathi by 253 votes while B Bhanu Prakash Babu got elected as treasurer.
