AP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that the TU-142 aircraft museum will be ready for throwing open to the public by the end of September 2017.

He visited the works that were going on at Beach Road and hoped that the coming up of the aircraft museum close to the Kursura Submarine Museum would put Visakhapatnam on the world tourism map. The War Memorial would also be further improved.

At a review meeting on the ongoing projects being implemented, he said that the preliminary work for calling for tenders to the flyover at NAD so as to lay the foundation stone in the first week of September.
