Teachers’ Day celebrated

Several instituions today celebrated Teachers’ Day by hosting a number of programmes and honouring teachers. AU celebrated the day n various departments on the campus and rich floral tributes were paid to Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. VC G.Nageswara Rao speaking on the occasion urged the students to draw inspiration from the great educator.

Five ex-professors felicitated

Five former professors of AMC and KGH were felicitated on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on Tuesday. Dr.G.Sai Gopal, Dr.Chandrasekharam, Dr.V.Pundarikaksha, Dr.C.V.Rao and Dr.G.Raghurama Rao were felicitated. AMC principal P.V.Sudhakar presided over the function.

AU News Post launched

To highlight the achievements and developments on the campus, Andhra University VC G.Nageswara Rao launched a news letter ‘Andhra University News Post’ today. Chief Editor of News Post P.Bobby Vardhan, member of editorial board K.Niranjan and HoD of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication Ch.Ramakrishna took part.
