CPI(M) leaders and victims’ association of VR chits demanded the arrest of the accused and a special court to try them.

CPI(M) State secretariat member Ch.Narasinga Rao said under the criminal case filed against the management, the accused could be imprisoned for three years for breach of agreement and for seven years for cheating. However, only some properties were disposed in 2012,2013 and 2015 and though Rs.27 crore was realized even that was not being paid property to the victims, he said.

He said that VR Chits had properties worth Rs.200 crore, only Rs.27 crore was proposed to be paid to the victims by obtaining signature on affidavits towards full and final settlement from them, he said at a press conference.
