Uttarandhra Saguneeti Projectla Sadhana Samiti today launched a post-card campaign by former Minister Konathala Ramakrishna.

The campaign is launched to create an awareness among people and bring pressure on the government on its negligent attitude towards North Andhra. He launched the campaign from Pedapudi in Butchaiahpeta mandal. Launching work on Uttarandhra Sujala Sravanthi, completion of pending projects in the region and Polavaram left main canal, providing irrigation to 30 acres in the North Andhra, linking rivers in the region with the Godavari, paving the way for completion of projects by resolving the disputes with Odisha government and due compensation to the displaced are among the major demands being made by the Samithi.

Konathala Ramakrishna said that one lakh postcards would be sent to the Chief Minister. He alleged that the Chief Minsiter had announced in May that the first phase would be taken up at a cost of Rs.2,200 crore and the same was not discussed in the subsequent Cabinet meetings.
