The process of setting up a circle exclusively for Andhra Pradesh will be known as Amaravati Circle, CGM Mani Palvesan has said. A separate administrative unit started functioning in Amaravati from April 24 but it would take a little more time for completion of the formation and notifying it as Amaravati Circle, he said. The process would be completed later this year.

SBI has 1,524 branches and 3,600 ATMs in Andhra Pradesh with a total business volume of Rs.1.5 crore –Rs.80,000 crore as deposits and the remaining as advances.
