Shanmukhapriya felicitated

Bank of Baroda Deputy General Manager M.SEshagiri Rao felicitated singer Shanmukhapriya at the bank’s regional office here on Friday. Her parents Srinivasa Kumar and Ratnamala and the bank’s deputy regional Manager Sailendra Kumar Singh were present.

Stone laying for ‘rajagopuram’

Foundation stone will be laid for the construction of ‘Rajagopuram’ of Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy temple at Ambica Baugh on Sunday. Deputy Collector and Executive Officer of Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi temple N.Jyothi Madhavi told reporters on Friday that Endowments Minister P.Manikyala Rao would lay the foundation stone.

Research unit inaugurated at KGH

A Multi-Disciplinary Research Unit sanctioned for Andhra Medical College was inaugurated by KGH superintendent G.Arjuna at the old neurosurgery ward of the hospital on Friday. AMC Principal P.V.Sudhakar, professor and Head of the Department of pathology A.Bhagyalakshmi, KGH deputy superintendent K.Varaprasad and V.Dharma Rao and others were present. Dr.Bhagyalakshmi said that the Rs.5.25 crore MRU project was funded by the Government of India.

AUSDE supplementary examinations

The Director of School of Distance Education, Andhra University announced on Saturday that the supplementary examinations for the students of B.E. and B.Tech courses will begin from December 4.
