Vijaya Bank plans to open 50 more branches

Vijaya Bank is contemplating its expansion with plans to open 50 more branches in the State in the coming two years.

Executive Director B.S.Rama Rao said on Monday that at present they had 115 branches. Fifteen of the new branches would be set up during the current financial year. He inaugurated a bank’s branch at Narsipatnam. He said that opening of the semi-urban branch in the district was another step towards extending the best banking services to the people.

The bank has 199 branches with 202 ATMs in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States. He said that the bank’s all India business volume stands at Rs.2,30,184 crore as on March 2017 with 1,32,983 crore through deposits.
