Raksha Bandhan – Postal special cover priced at Rs.25

The Department of Posts launched special envelopes to suit the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan.

T\With 160 GSM paper, the special cover has the images of rachis on the left corner of the envelope, epitomizing the significance of the ensuring festival that celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters. The specially designed cover with rs.5 stamp is priced at Rs.25.

‘As a part of the limited edition, we received 1,000 covers. However, depending on the demand, the quantity will be increased soon say Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Visakhapatnam. The special covers are available in Head Post Office, Velampeta, and post offices located at MVP Colony, Gajuwaka, Gopalapatnam and other areas.
