The PM Palem police today issued notice to three TDP leaders and summoned them to the station to inquire into an alleged land grabbing case.

The residents of Madhurawada alleged that TDP leader of the Fourth Ward in Madhurawada, Golagani Sanyasi Rao had allegedly grabbed 2.79 acres of government land under survey No.159/3 and tried to build a house on it. Similarly, notices were also issued to lower rung TDP leaders G.Narasimha Murty and K.Appalaswamy.

The Station House Officer of PM Palem police station said that no arrests have been made and they are verifying the land records and matching them with the records available in the revenue office. If it is proved that they had grabbed the land by tampering the records, we will not hesitate to arrest anyone irrespective of his or her status, said the SHO.

A case of land grabbing and criminal conspiracy was also filed against Anakapalli MLA Peela Govind Satyanarayana in Anandapuram police station last week.
