Minsiter launches sale of LED tube lights and star-rated fans

AP Minister for Energy K.Kala Venkata Rao today inaugurated the sale of LED tube lights and energy-efficient fans at a counter at the APEPDCL Corporate office.

The programme ‘Ujala’ is taken up by the APEPDCL and the AP State Energy Efficiency Development Corporation in association with public sector Energy Efficiency Services Ltd.,

The tube light is sold at Rs.220 and the fan is supplied at RS.1,100. The Minister said that it was proposed to distribute 12 lakh fans in the APEPDCL area. In Narsapuram area of West Godavari district 45,000 star-rated fans and 6,600 LED tube lights were supplied.
