To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Indian-ASEAN dialogue and in consonance with India’s ‘Act East’ policy, Indian Naval Ship Kadmatt sailed into Sihanoukville in Cambodia for a three day visit.

The visit is aimed at showcasing India’s shipbuilding capability and long sustenance and global reach of the Indian Navy. INS Kadmatt, an anti-submarine warfare corvette, was deployed in the region in early September 2017. It was visiting Cambodia on completion of the ASEAN IFR at Pataya, Thailand, last week. The Commanding officer would call on several high-ranking officers of the Royal Cambodian navy. It would also take part in a Passage Exercise.
