Chief Minister lay foundation stone for NAD flyover – inaugurates VVIP lounge

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today laid foundation stone for the construction of flyover at NAD Kotha Road.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the flyover would be completed between 18 to 24 months. The problems faced by people waiting at the traffic signals would come to an end once the flyover was completed, said the Chief Minister.

Visakhapatnam West MLA PGVR Naidu always brought the issue to his notice whenever he met him citing the problems faced by the people. Though he was going abroad he made it a point to come to lay the foundation to prevent any further delays, said Chandrababu. The double rotary flyover will be constructed at a cost of Rs.113 crore.

VUDA Vice-Chairman P.Basant Kumar said the 8,000 to 10,000 vehicles could pass on the flyover per hour and one lakh per day. MLA PGVR Naidu (Ganababu) said only a small meeting was organized to thank the Chief Minister for sanctioning the flyover.

VVIP lounge inaugurated::

Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated VVIP longue constructed at a cost of Rs.50 lakh at Visakhapatnam International Airport. The lounge constructed in a 4,200 square foot plinth area has central air-conditioning, a provision to hold meetings with 300 delegates. CM’s chamber, an ante room, pantry and toilets.
