Says Muslims all over the world are united
Visakha City, February 1, 2010
Muslims in the city have taken a strong exception to the reported remarks of TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao on the nomination of Muslims without knowledge of Urdu language on the Wakf Board. Speaking at a media conference on Monday, for chairman of VUDA, SA Rahman noted that Muslims all over the world were one and warned the TRS president that he would face dire consequences if he attempted divide and rule policy towards Muslims.
The TRS president, Chandrasekhara Rao has no knowledge of Islam, he said and added that in his tenure as Central Minister, Chandrasekhara Rao did nothing for the welfare of Muslims. Senior Congress leader CMA Zaheer Ahmed said that Muslims all over the world spoke different languages and it was unfair to ridicule the community on the basis of language.
