Two-day Regional Summit on Tourism concludes

English magazine on Vizag released

The two-day Regional Summit on Tourism organized by the Air Traveller Association (India) with AP Tourism department, Visakhapatnam Port Trust, VUDA, GVMC and Visakhapatnam Container Terminal, CMR and GMR Infra as co-sponsors concluded on Sunday. The summit highlighted the tourist potential in the four North Andhra districts.

The Divisional Railway Manager, D Kamilla, Visakhapatnam Air Port, Director, A Pattabhi, VUDA's Officer on Special duty, Ramesh detailed the steps taken by their respective departments to improve connectivity and popularize tourism. Subrahmany from Pudichery explained tourist attraction sites in Pudichery, pointing out that Telugu is one of the official languages there and Yanam, which is part of Pudichery was located by the side of Kakinada in East Godavari district.

Chairman of the AP State Tourism Development Corporation, Swarnjit Sen who delivered the valedictory address released an English magazine published. President of ATA, D Varada Reddy thanked all for their participation in the event.
