Collector set June 7 as deadline for report

District Collector of Visakhapatnam, J Shyamala Rao has directed the officials to prepare the final report on regularization of Simhachalam Devastanam lands by June 7. In a meeting held on Friday, Shyamala Rao directed various officials of VUDA and Simhachalam Devastanam to resume the work on the incomplete hilltop road.
The following have been decided in the meeting.
The revenue department will work with Simhachalam devastanam on a survey on the regularization applications of the Simhachalam lands. Report to be submitted by June 7.
VUDA Estate officers to take up survey of 106 acres of land given in lieu of the Central Jail land for the development of 'Nrusimhavanam'
Officials to inquire into the complaints against the selection of jobs of those displaced by the Gangavaram port. Report to be submitted by June 1 and notices should be issued on complaints received.
