Orders for the appointment of additional joint collector issued

To ensure effective administrative reforms, the Government has appointed Additional Joint Collectors for all the districts. Urban Land Ceiling Special Officer S Satyanaryana has been appointed Additional Joint Collector for Visakhapatnam, ITDA Partvathipuram's former Project Officer M Rama Rao for Vizianagaram and DRDA Project Director for Srikakulam.
The appointment of AJCs also aim at reducing the workload of the Joint Collectors and speeding up the revenue related development works. Though, the government took the decision on the issue long back, the orders were delayed due to sudden developments in the State for the last six months.
From Visakhapatnam Revenue department three other officials have been elevated as Additional Joint Collectors. Land Protection special grade Deputy Collector MV Seshagiri Babu has been appointed for West Godavari district, NH 5 Land Acquisition special grade deputy collector D Kesava Rao for Ananthapuram and GCC Vigilance Officer Special Grade Collector DS Bose for Khammam.
