Revenue Session to be conducted every week

The district administration is launching 'Revenue Session' on a weekly basis to address the long pending grievances, issues and problems related to the revenue department. The session will be conducted every Friday in four villages in each mandal and will address the people's grievances. All the revenue officials and their staff would be present at the session to attend to the problems of all departments said the District Collector, J Shyamala Rao.

The officials will attend the session along with the records of the villages concerned. The problems including delay in releasing pattadar passbooks, adangal entry, tittle deeds and other land related issues would be declared at the session. If any grievances are not solved, it would be intimated to the party concerned said Shyamala Rao.

During the session, the records will also be updated according to the ground reality. The Collector also directed the officials not to entertain any speeches and arguments and try to clear the long pending problems. He said that the Palle Pilupu programme would be further strengthened and reforms implemented to take the NREGS closer to the beneficiaries. He said that the district got seventh rank in the State in implementing the NREGS and the ITDA while Paderu achieved the second rank among all ITDAs in the State.
