Key Resource, a novel service that helps recover your lost property quickly and securely was introduced in the city on Saturday. Each key rescue tag has unique identification number printed on it. One has to attach the tag on one’s keys or other articles and register online or on toll free number 1800 425 4441 or simply fill the form and drop it in the nearest post office.
The finder of the lost keys or property can just drop it in the nearest post box fore delivering it at Key Rescue which, in turn , hands it over to the owner by post free of cost. In addition, the finder is sent to reward on behalf of the owner to say thanks at no extra cost.
The Chief Executive officer of PIE Software Pvt.Ltd., which introduced the product, D Ramakrishna said that the system already existed in countries like Australia, USA and UK but was new to India. For the first time, it was being introduced in the country in the city and there were plans to extend it to the entire country with the support of India Post and BSNL, he said.
BSNL, General Manager, P Nagaraju, who was present, congratulated PIE Software for launching the novel product. Those who lost their mobile phones can also get their phones blacklisted by using the IMEA number, he said.
