About 2,84,740 inoperative accounts lying at EPFO Sub Regional Office

The Employees Provident Fund Office (EPFO) Sub Regional Office that has the jurisdiction of the three districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam is conducting a special drive to clear up and facilitate the withdraw of funds from the PF deposits of those subscribers who have left their PF amount unclaimed for over three years and those which are lying in an inoperative state.
Regional PF Commissioner Ajeet Kumar said that as many as 2,84,740 inoperative accounts lying at EPFO Sub Regional Office. He appealed to the eligible PF account holders to apply in the stipulated format throught their former employers. He asked the employers and trade unions to extend their full cooperation and facilitate that the rightful claims are being made and honored.
