Various sectors to showcase their products

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Ministry will hold a national vendor-cum-industrial exhibition MSME Expo-2010 on February 20 and 21. The exhibition being conducted at Vishwapriya Function Hall. The programme was aimed at exploring enormous scope for design and development of critical components and spares needed by various departments in the Defence Ministry, the Railways, public and private sector enterprises and government departments, MSME director D Chandrasekhar told the media on Thursday.
The MSME sector, along with public sector units will showcase their products as well as potential. Some 165 stall will be put up at the exhibition. Commissioner of Industries G Anantaramu will inaugurate and the District Collector J Shyamala Rao has consented to release the souvenir. Minister of Major Industries will be the chief guest at the valedictory function.
Buyer organizations like Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, BHPV, NTPC Simhadri, East Coast Railway, Visakhapatnam Port Trust, ECIL and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited will present technical papers at a seminar being held coinciding with the exhibition on Saturday. The General Manager of District Industries Centre VRVR Naik, president of Visakha Autonagar Small Scale Industries Association and others were present at the press conference.
