The Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal is contemplating touring the Telangana-Andhra border districts with a view to driving home the importance of staying united. He disclosed the same at a 'Meet the Press' programme organized by the Vizag Journalists Forum on Monday. He said that many people of Telangana preferred to stay in united Andhra Pradesh with Hyderabad as the capital city but were unable to come out in open.

Smaller States will benefit only politicians and businessmen but he wanted the people to stay together as our united Andhra Pradesh has become No.1 State in the country. Rajagopal said that he would present the medical records of the TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao in the Lok Sabha with the signatures of NIMS doctors.

Lagadapati said that neither he nor KCR or any others who took IV fluids could be said to have been on hunger strike, contrary to medial reports. This was a point he wanted the general public to understand and people should not be misled on this aspect, he opined.
