KV Chowdary is new Chief Commissioner of Income Tax

Chowdary is 1978 batch IRS Officer

Sri K V Chowdary took charge on Friday as the new Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Visakhapatnam Region. He is an officer from the 1978 batch of Indian Revenue Services (IRS).

Chowdary started his stint with the Income Tax Department when he joined as an Income Tax Officer (Grade A) which is now christened as Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax. He served as the director of Income Tax (Investigation) at Nagpur since 2007 before being posted to Visakhapatnam with a promotion.
