Cheated wives seek stringent action against Jagadeesh

Three women viz., Krishnaveni, Sandhya and Venkata Rani, who were alleging that their husband V Jagadeesh, son of Jagadamba Theatre complex owner Rambabu cheated them. On Saturday, they demanded that severe punishment should be given to the accused. They wanted the Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy to immediately intervene and render speedy justice to them.
Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Sandhya and Venkata Rani said that they were both tortured before they were sent back to their parents while Krishnaveni, who also alleged to have married Jagadeesh, claimed that she was introduced as maid servant to outsiders. According to them, Jagadeesh married Krishnaveni in 2002, Sandhya in 2007 and Venkata Rani in November 2009 and all were promised individually that the marriage would be performed at Annavaram but in all the three cases Jagadeesh told Sandhya that he was marrying her as Krishnaveni was issueless.
Venkata Rani is from West Godavari, Sandhya is from Srirangapatnam in East Godavari and Krishnaveni is from Krishna district. Meanwhile, Task Force officials have arrested Jagadeesh and his father Rambabu in Chennai. The police were able to trace their location following calls made by the duo on their mobile. Both the accused would be taken to Visakhapatnam.
