Police seizes and arrests three in connection with fake certificates racket

Accused was alleged of preparing certificates at all levels

Visakha City, March 13, 2010

Three persons were taken into custody by the City Task Force police on Friday on a charge of producing fake SSC, Intermediate and degree certificates. On a tip-off, CTF Sub Inspector S Anand Reddy and Tirupathi Rao went to a house at Akkireddypalem where the fake certificates were being made and apprehended the accused.

The accused were alleged preparing SSC, Intermediate, Degree and PG certificates of Andhra University and selling them to candidates. The police seized 30 fake certificates, a computer, Rs.1,000 cash, logos of Andhra University and some stamps. They handed over the accused to the Gajuwaka Police for further investigation.
