Kallam stresses on cost accountancy in industry

The Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) Ajeya Kallam on Friday emphasized the importance of cost accountancy in any industry at a two-day state level seminar on effective corporate environment that was organized by the Institute of Cost and Accounts of India, Visakhapatnam Chapter on Friday.
After inaugurating the seminar, he suggested that the professionals should support the industry with innovative ideas in decision making to the management in order to improve the quality of the product of the industry.
K Narasimha Murty briefed on the theme of the seminar and importance of cost accounting standards and corporate governance in his keynote address. Vice Chairman of ICWAI’s Visakhapatnam chapter GSR Krishna Murty gave a lecture on corporate governance and the activities of the institute.
