Bhamidipati Ramagopalam is suffering from cardiac problems and osteo-arthritis

Well noted Telugu short story and humor writer Bhamidipati Ramagopalam, popularly known as Bharago, died on Wednesday. He was 78 and is survived with a wife, two sons and daughter. He had retired as Deputy Inspector of Survey in Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT). His cremation will take place on Thursday.
Bharago was suffering from cardiac and osteo-arthritis problems. He won Sahitaya Academy for his short stories book 'Itlu Thama Vidheyudu' and also penned down nearly 160 short stories, three novels and 50 essays.
He also produced several commemoration volumes that included the ones on great personalities like Dwaram Venkataswamy Naidu, P Bhanumathi, Rava Balasaraswati, Palagummi Padmaraju and Raavi Sastry. He also wrote in English and was an acclaimed singer.
