A Dossier on Visakhapatnam
Handbook containing Building rules and VUDA Master Plans is released by Chairman of VUDA Sam Bob.

B Sam Bob, the Chairman of VUDA has released a handbook to help officials of the local bodies in enforcing rules and regulations. The handbook contains Building rules and VUDA Master plans. The 120-page handbook also contains the government orders on building rules, CRZ rules, norms, guidelines etc. on layout development.Speaking on the occasion, Sam Bob appreciated the efforts of VUDA Vice-Chairman Kona Sasidhar and the Planning wing officials for taking up the task of preparation of the handbook.
VUDA Vice-Chairman Kona Sasidhar said that the VUDA has been conducting interactive sessions and orientation programmes to educate the local bodies on their roles and responsibilities in implementing the VUDA Master Plan.
GVMC Commissioner B Ramanjaneyulu, Visakhapatnam Collector Lav Agarwal, Vijayanagaram Collector M. Veerabrahmaiah, Srikakulam Collector G. Venkata Ram Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
