Two judges placed on suspension

Fourth Additional District Judge A Radhakrishna and Chairman of the Industrial Tribunal M Ramdas were placed on temporary suspension.

Two Additional Judges of the Visakhapatnam court were temporarily suspended on ground of suspicion expressed in the judgments passed by them in the past. The Andhra Pradesh high court has instructed the Principal District Judge Ch. Manavendranath Roy to put Fourth Additional District Judge A Radhakrishna and Chairman of the Industrial Tribunal M Ramdas on temporary suspension.

While hearing appeals in separate civil cases, the High Court judges have expressed suspicion in the judgments delivered by the two judges. The judgments were referred to Committee No. 1 who recommended the judges be placed on temporary suspension. The suspension orders were issued by Hon. Chief Justice Madan Bhimarao Lokur of the High Court.

Principal District Judge Manavendranath Roy will be the in-charge of Industrial Tribunal and N Raja Prasad Babu will serve as in-charge of Fourth Additional District Court.
