Distinguished personalities from various fields attend a programme organized by TSR Lalitha Kala Parishad on the occasion of birthday of Rajya Sabha member T Subbarami Reddy

The birthday celebrations of Rajya Sabha member T Subbarami Reddy brought a thrill to the audience who attended the programme organized by the TSR Lalitha Kala Parishad at the Port Kalavani auditorium on the Akkayyapalem National highway. Distinguished personalities from different fields, from spiritual to religious to film, were present at the event. Playback singer P Susheela who has completed her diamond jubilee in film music was conferred the 'Viswavikhyata Sangeetha Kala Saraswathi' title. Susheela along with other playback singers KJ Yesudas, Vani Jairam, LR Eswari, S Janaki and PB Srinivas enthralled the audience with their songs. Yesteryear heroine Vanisri and Tollywood hero Ramcharan Tej were also present at the event to the delight of the audience.
Sarada Peetam's Swami Swaroopanandendra Saraswati, Moulana Mohammed Abdur Rehman Khan Quadri, Rev. Dr. ED Yesuratnam, Bhai Jagdeep Singhji gave their blessings to Subbarami Reddy. Tamil Nadu Governor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah, Union Minister Salman Khursheed, APCC President Botcha Satyanarayana, Film producer D Ramanaidu, AICC Secretary P Sudhakar Reddy, Rajya Sabha members V Hamunatha Rao, Nandi Yelliah and MP Seelam were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Subbarami Reddy said that he would always be there in Vizag to help anyone at any time and described the people of the district as his family. He said that he adopted the city 33 years ago and will continue to serve the people till his final breath. The speakers appreciated the efforts of Subbarami Reddy to bring so many distinguished personalities on a single platform.
