Ram Charan Tej is in the city as part of his Nayak success tour

Film actor Ram Charan Tej who is in the city as part of his state tour to celebrate the success of his latest film 'Nayak' surprised everyone by participating in a road awareness campaign. He spoke at the awareness campaign taken up as part of the Road Safety Week at Jail Road on Sunday.
Addressing a gathering, Ram Charan Tej appealed to the youth to strictly adhere to traffic rules. He said that violation of traffic rules is the major cause for the majority of road accidents. He also advised the youth to wear seat belts and helmets while driving four-wheelers and two-wheelers respectively. Ram Charan commended the Visakhapatnam Police for ensuring the number of accidents were reduced in the last three years.
The awareness campaign was held opposite the Visakha Women's College which was attended by more than 1000 college students. Commissioner of Police B Sivadhar Reddy, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Viswaprasad and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Traffic) Suresh Babu addressed the students.
Earlier, Ram Charan Tej, Director VV Vinayak were given a rousing reception when they landed at the Visakhapatnam Airport in a special chartered flight. The film unit which also included Chota K Naidu and DVV Danayya interacted with the fans at a special function organized at the Vimax theatre. The police had a hard time controlling the crowd who stormed the stage to shake hands with Ram Charan.
