Police arrests four in Mrudula murder case

The Visakha City Police are able to get a break through in the murder case of Ashwini Mrudula. The sensational murder case took place at the Metro Residency apartments located in Dondaparthy. The Police Commissioner J Purnachandra Rao gave a description of the modus operandi of the accused and how police were able to bust the murderers.
Chintala Ramakrishna alias Sivaramakrishna is a hair cutting saloon in Dondaparthy. He used to do haircut and facials to the family members of the victim. Sivaramakrishna has some debts to repay. So, he planned to loot the house of the victim and made appropriate plans with the help of three others. These accomplices made a failed theft attempt few days ago.
The four of them made a bid to loot the house on March 29 but failed. So they made yet one more attempt on which day Mrudula was alone in her house. They asked for water which she brought. One of the accomplices has attempted to put her in unconscious stage by putting a handkerchief dipped in chloroform but she resisted. An accomplice was injured in the incident. They pulled her hair and tried to counter her resistance and during her struggle her throat was slit with the knife. The knife slit lead to her death.
She was then dragged to the bathroom. The accomplice searched but could not get any valuables. Even their attempt to open iron safe failed. The television was switched on and put on high volume to distract.
The Police Commissioner said that special teams were constituted to solve the crime which helped nab the four accused.
