Medical students and lawyers from the city stage processions demanding introduction of Jan Lokpal bill in the Parliament.

Medical students and lawyers from the city have demanded the introduction of Jan Lokpal bill in the Parliament. PG, under-graduate students and house surgeons of the Andhra Medical College, GITAM College and Dental Hospital have staged a procession in solidarity with Anna Hazare. General Secretary and President of the AP Junior Doctors' Association also took part in the procession.
The students raised pro-Hazare slogans in their procession which started from the in gate of the King George Hospital. The procession passed through Purna Market, Mrs. A.V.N College and the Collectorate. Meanwhile advocates also staged a procession, which began from District Courts complex and concluded it at the Gandhi statue opposite to the GVMC office. Bar association president Habeebullah took part in the procession.
Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu kicked off anti-corruption campaign in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.
