Minister for Cooperation Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy inaugurates new administrative building of the District Co-operative Central Bank (DCCB) at Marripalem

Minister for Cooperation Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy has inaugurated the new administrative building of the District Co-operative Central Bank (DCCB) at Marripalem. Addressing a meet after inaugurating the new building, the Minister said that the government has set a target of sanctioning loans to the tune of Rs. 700 crore during the current financial year. The 2742 branches of the DCCB has already disbursed loans to small and marginal farmers belonging to weaker sections worth Rs. 578 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Reddy said that the Congress government revived the co-operative sector which was passing through a crisis when it came into power. He said that the Congress government implemented the Vaidyanathan Committee recommendations.
Mayor Pulusu Janardhana Rao, speaking on the occasion, said that the path shown by the DCCB is exemplary. DCCB CEO P Sivanarayana gave the details of the progress made by the bank. MLAs Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao, Tyanala Vijay Kumar, Bolem Mutyalapapa, Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao, Ch Venkatramaiah, Golla Babu Rao, Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha Chairman Tota Nagesh and former DCCB presidents DVV Gopalaraju, Chiranjeevi Raju participated in the meeting.
