Rear Admiral K R Nair is new Admiral Superintendent of Naval Dockyard

Rear Admiral K R Nair is new Admiral Superintendent of Naval Dockyard. Takes charge from Rear Admiral Vijay Kumar Namballa.

Visakha City, April 25, 2011

Rear Admiral K R Nair took charge as the new Admiral Superintendent of Naval Dockyard at Visakhapatnam. He took the charge from Rear Admiral Vijay Kumar Namballa.

Prior to this assignment, Rear Admiral K R Nair was the Assistant Chief of Materials (Information Technology & Systems) at the Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy) at New Delhi. Rear Admiral Vijay Kumar Namballa is now taking charge as Director General Naval Projects (Visakhapatnam).

Both Nair and Vijay Kumar Namballa are alumnus of the National Defence College, New Delhi.
