'Mahasahasravadhani' Garikapati Narasimha Rao is awarded the ninth Kopparapu Kavula Pratibha Puraskaram.

'Mahasahasravadhani' Garikapati Narasimha Rao is honored with the ninth Kopparapu Kavula Pratibha Puraskaram. The award was given in the presence of Courtalam Peethadhipati Sri Siddheswarananda Bharti Mahaswami and Sadguru Sivananda Murthy.
Former Karnataka Governor VS Rama Devi presided over the function as the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, Rama Devi said that literature should be able to overcome the barriers of caste and creed. She also said that awards should be bestowed upon even posthumously. The Kopparapu Kavula Pratibha Puraskaram is awarded every year in the memory of Kopparapu brothers - Kopparapu Venkata Subbaraya Kavi and Venkata Ramana Kavi.
Former Chairman of AP Press Academy Potturi Venkateswara Rao, Sri Siddheswarananda Mahaswamy, Sadguru Sivananda Murthy, AP Hindi Academy Chairman Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, AP High Court judge NRL Nageswara Rao and former minister Mandali Buddha Prasad were also present.
