YSR Congress Party's city unit stages 'Fees Poru' dharna in front of Collectorate demanding Government to release fee reimbursement funds

Responding to a state wide agitation call by the YSR Congress Party, the district unit of the party staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate demanding the government to release funds for fee reimbursement scheme. YSR Congress Party's city convener Vamsikrishna Srinivas, Anakapalle MP Sabbam Hari, MLA and district convener G Babu Rao, former MLA Gandi Babji and otehrs participated in the dharna. The leaders addressed the party workers and students who took part in the dharna.
The reimbursement scheme was introduced by former Chief Minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Criticizing the Congress party for not being able to continue the welfare schemes introduced by YSR, the leaders said that is is only Jagan Mohan Reddy who would be able to implement the welfare programmes that were introduced by the former Chief Minister.
YSRCP city convener Vamsikrishna Srinivas criticized the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and said that he is only bothered to save his position. Srinivas said that the Government is not showing any interest in continuing the welfare schemes and because of that many students are facing hardships. People lost faith in the Government and YSR Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy would become the Chief Minister in 2014, the leaders said.
