Chandrababu Naidu kicks off anti-corruption campaign, participates in road shows. He criticizes Jagan Mohan Reddy's tactics of mudslinging him.

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu kicked off anti-corruption campaign in solidarity with social Anna Hazare's demand for Jan Lokpal Bill. Chandrababu Naidu who reached Visakhapatnam in the morning, led a padayatra from the Mahatma Gandhi statue near GVMC office till the LIC junction. CPI leaders and activists also took part in the padayatra.
Addressing a public meeting at Jagadamba Junction, Chandrababu Naidu denied Jagan Mohan Reddy's allegations that TDP and Congress are involved in a match-fixing following the CBI investigation in the YSR Congress Party president's assets. He said that Jagan has resorted to mudslinging him after going into a panic mode.
Chandrababu Naidu participated in road shows in several parts of the city to raise awareness against corruption among people. He said that the Telugu Desam party has never compromised on its fight against corruption. Pointing out that while the former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy had filed nine cases against him in the Andhra Pradesh High Court and Supreme Court, he has failed to prove any of the charges against him. He reminded that it is because of Telugu Desam Party's complaint that the High Court had passed strictures against the then Chief Minister Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy.
The TDP President also ridiculed the resignations of legislators owing allegiance to Jagan Mohan Reddy terming it as a 'big drama'. He said that in the letter by Jagan's mother Vijayamma to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, nowhere she has mentioned that his son is innocent.
Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu has participated in an interactive session with students at Vignan's Institute of Information Technology (VIIT). He called on the students to come forward and fight against corruption in the country. He said that the students have the power to eliminate corruption in the country and said that they should support Anna Hazare's anti-corruption campaign.
