Jagadamba Centre, September 2, 2011
Anakapalle MP Sabbam Hari unveiled a statue of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at Jagadamba Junction on the account of the former Chief Minister's second death anniversary. Addressing a huge gathering, Sabbam Hari alleged that the Congress party is using all means malign the image of Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that the CBI raid on Jagan Mohan Reddy came after he quit the Congress party.
Sabbam Hari alleged that some of the members in the ruling Congress party at Centre and State governments are unable to bear the growing popularity of Jagan Mohan Reddy. He wondered what mistake Jagan has committed when he decided to embark in an Odarpu Yatra to console the family members of 600 persons who died in shock after the unfortunate demise of YSR.
Sabbam Hari told the gathering that he attended nine programmes in Visakhapatnam and wherever he went, people wanted Jagan to be the next Chief Minister. He said that only Jagan could continue the welfare schemes introduced by Rajasekhara Reddy. YSR Congress Party city convener GV Ravi Raju and other party leaders spoke on the occasion.
