APEPDCL books 62 power theft cases in Visakhapatnam DPE Circle.

The DPE Circle of the AP Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited, Visakhapatnam Circle has booked as many 62 power theft cases recently, according to a release by its Superintending Engineer, PVV Satyanarayana. A penalty of Rs. 11,61,428 was imposed.
23 cases were booked in Rajahmundry, 20 in Eluru, 7 in Visakhapatnam and 6 each in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam. The five locations come under the Superintending Engineer, DPE, Visakhapatnam.
During the financial year 2010-11, as many as 1355 TE cases are booked. The Case Detection Ratio is at 32.17%.
